I hope that you are all having a great summer. I know that mine has been a very good one, but as always, way to short!

August is almost half over and I can’t believe how the time flies. Back to school supplies are out and kids will be headed back to school; fall run is beginning at the cattle markets (with markets looking up, by the way);  and annual production sales are in full swing. As everyone begins to settle down from a hectic summer, this is a great time to get all of your advertising in line for the fall.

Whether you are looking to create a new campaign, introducing new products, promoting your 2010 foal crop, or just need to update information that was overlooked during the summer, now is the time. There is an increasing number of cold days and that means more people are taking to their computers as well as taking time to read newspapers and magazines. Robert Wenzel from EconomicPolicyJournal.com writes “October is a period of great consumer intensity that moves away from savings and toward consumption.” So with that said, I think that it is very important to freshen up your ad campaigns and really make them stand out.
